Job Description
The Opportunity:
Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service, part of the Flinders and Upper North LHN, is seeking PGY2+ JMOs, RMOs, and Registrars to provide locum coverage in its Emergency Department.
As a regional referral centre, the ED sees a wide variety of presentations including rural trauma, chronic disease, and acute medical emergencies.
Clinical Environment:
Consultant support and nursing-led triage system
Broad scope of presentations – trauma, paediatrics, mental health
Opportunity to develop procedural and critical care experience
Flexible shifts available throughout 2025
Eligibility Criteria:
AHPRA General Registration
PGY2+ with Emergency or Acute Care experience
ALS2 required
Willingness to complete SA Health credentialing and onboarding
