Job Description
The Opportunity:
Central Coast LHD is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Registrars to support busy EDs across the region.
You'll manage a range of acute and complex presentations, working with consultant guidance or in-charge depending on the site and shift.
Clinical Environment:
Exposure to a diverse emergency caseload including trauma, paediatrics, cardiac, resus, and mental health
Collaborate with FACEMs, registrars, RMOs, and experienced nursing teams
Access to modern electronic medical records and real-time triage systems
Opportunities to work in-charge or supervised, depending on shift and facility
Ideal for doctors building toward ACEM training or maintaining high-level emergency skills in a regional-metro setting
Eligibility Criteria:
AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
PGY5+ with at least 12 months of Emergency Medicine experience
NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
Willingness to complete onboarding and hospital credentialing
