The Opportunity:
Broken Hill Health Service and surrounding facilities within Far West Local Health District (FWLHD) are seeking experienced RMOs and Registrars for ongoing locum coverage throughout 2025.
 
You’ll work across a variety of clinical settings with strong supervision and the chance to take on meaningful responsibility. Shifts include day, evening, overnight and weekends, with premium rates for higher-acuity or on-call cover.

Broken Hill Health Service is a major regional hospital serving Far West NSW, offering:

• Broad exposure to ED, inpatient wards, theatre and procedural work
• Supportive consultants and experienced nursing teams

• Opportunities to work across smaller district sites for confident Registrars

 
What’s Included:

• Up to $2,500/day (based on experience and shift type)
• Full travel costs or return flights covered
• Accommodation provided or daily allowance
• Higher pay available for nights, weekends and on-call

 
Eligibility Requirements:

• AHPRA General Registration
• Minimum PGY3 level  
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
