The Firm

This is a well-regarded boutique firm servicing affluent clients in the Katoomba region and surrounding areas for many years. The team handles a steady stream of matters across commercial transactions, conveyancing, family law, and estate planning. They offer clients clear, practical advice and pride themselves on long-standing relationships in the local community.

The Role

This position offers the chance to take on a balanced workload across both commercial and family law. The successful candidate will be comfortable running files with autonomy and confident dealing with clients directly.
Key responsibilities:

• Manage sale and purchase of property and businesses
• Draft and review commercial contracts, leases, and business agreements
• Handle family law matters including parenting and property disputes
• Appear in court and liaise with counsel and other parties
• Provide high-quality client service and advice across all matters

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years PAE across general Commercial Law and Family Law
• Confident handling  transactional matters from start to finish
• Experience with parenting/property matters and court processes
• Ability to manage time and files independently with professionalism
• Willingness to work as part of a close-knit, community-minded firm
