About the position:

Our client is seeking a Junior Solicitor with up to 3 years PAE to join their close-knit team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their legal career with hands-on experience in commercial matters, disputes, and insolvency work.

You will work directly with senior lawyers and gain valuable exposure to clients, court procedures, and end-to-end legal matters. The firm prides itself on offering junior solicitors the kind of responsibility and development rarely available in larger firms—perfect for someone eager to grow technically and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing and preparing legal documents and court materials
• Advising clients on a broad range of commercial and insolvency issues
• Assisting with District, Supreme, and Federal Court litigation
• Legal research and interpretation of case law and legislation
• Attending court for mentions and directions hearings
• Supporting commercial transaction matters under supervision

Key Requirements:

• Recently admitted solicitor or up to 3 years PAE
• Strong interest in commercial law, litigation, and insolvency
• Confident communication and drafting skills
• Willingness to appear in court and develop advocacy skills
• Professional, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Previous experience in a law firm setting is advantageous
