Associate Lawyer, 3-4 years PQE, to join a respected Sydney firm's advisory team on banking, funds, corporate and IP work.
A well-regarded Sydney law firm is looking for an Associate with 3-4 years’ PQE to join its strategic advisory and special projects team. The team works holistically with clients, from small-to-medium enterprises through to publicly listed companies, combining legal expertise with commercial and strategic thinking.
About the role : You’ll be involved in a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, including:
- Banking and finance work, including debt advisory and refinancing
- Funds management and investment structures
- Corporate set-ups, governance and capital structuring
- Intellectual property matters
- Supporting M&A, capital raisings and other special projects from start to finish
It’s an environment where your work reaches beyond legal drafting. You’ll see how deals are strategised, structured and executed, and you’ll have the chance to build real commercial depth across multiple practice areas.
Salary Range and Benefits:
- $125,000 - $150,000 (salary guide range)
- Direct exposure to senior lawyers and strategic client conversations

What you'll bring - 3 to 4 years PAE in corporate and commercial law
- Admission to practise in NSW with a current practising certificate
- Experience in banking and finance, funds management, corporate set-ups or IP
- Commercial awareness and an interest in strategy as well as law
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work in a project-based, advisory environment with a range of professionals
- Happy to work from the Sydney CBD office
