About the Position:

Our client is seeking a motivated Associate or Senior Associate to join their expanding Canberra team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role offers the chance to work closely with high-profile Government clients, providing strategic legal advice across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including procurement, tendering, and probity.

The successful candidate will play a key role in drafting and negotiating contracts and commercial agreements, offering practical advice on procurement processes, and collaborating with a high-performing team to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

Secondment opportunities may also be available, offering further career enrichment and client exposure.


Key Requirements:

• 5+ years PAE  across corporate and commercial law
• Experience with government procurement, tendering, and probity matters
• A current Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
• Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail with excellent drafting abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Willingness to undertake secondments as required
