About the Role:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Associate Family Lawyer with at least four years of post-admission experience to take the next step in their career. Joining our client’s Gold Coast team, you will play a pivotal role in both legal practice and firm development.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including:
    • Divorce and separation
    • Property settlements and financial agreements
    • Parenting disputes and child support matters
    • De facto and same-sex relationship matters
    • Relocation and intervention orders
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and referral networks
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to their professional growth
  • Playing a key role in business development and firm expansion
  • Working closely with firm leadership to establish a clear pathway to partnership
Key Requirements
  • Admitted to practice in Australia with at least four years of post-admission experience in family law (private practice)
  • Strong technical expertise in family law with the ability to manage complex cases independently
  • A commercial mindset with a strategic approach to client and case management
  • Proven experience in business development and networking to build referral pathways
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior lawyers while fostering a collaborative work environment
  • A long-term commitment to career progression with ambitions for partnership
