Job Description

Our client is a well-regarded boutique firm based in Sydney CBD, known for its commitment to ethical practice and high-quality work. The culture is collegial, supportive, and low-ego, offering lawyers a chance to grow with guidance from experienced mentors.

The firm also practices across other areas of law, so lawyers with broader interests can gain exposure beyond family law.

What’s on offer
  • $100,000 – $160,000 + incentives depending on experience and billings
  • Flexible work arrangements – full-time or part-time available
  • Work closely with experienced, down-to-earth senior lawyers
  • Exposure to other areas of law (if desired)
  • Opportunity to develop a long-term career within a respected Sydney boutique

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a family lawyer with 3+ years post-admission experience who is confident managing matters with autonomy. You’ll be trusted with complex property and parenting files, and encouraged to appear at court listings where appropriate.

You’ll have access to senior lawyers for support, and the chance to be involved in matters ranging from mid-tier to high-net-worth family disputes.
Key matters you’ll handle include:
  • Property settlements involving complex financial structures
  • Parenting disputes
  • Binding Financial Agreements
  • Court appearances and mediations

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years PAE in family law
  • Confident handling family law files end-to-end
  • Solid advocacy skills and willingness to appear in court
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Professional and ethical approach to client work
  • Commercially astute and driven
