3 Key Points:
  • Enjoy a collaborative and down-to-earth team environment
  • Flexible work options and top-tier employee benefits
  • Work on complex parenting and property matters
About the Client:

Our client is a highly regarded national law firm known for its modern, people-first approach. With a long-standing reputation for legal excellence and client care, the firm places just as much emphasis on supporting its people as it does on delivering outcomes. The Brisbane office is home to an award-winning Family Law team backed by strong national support, offering an inclusive and genuinely collaborative workplace culture.

About the position:

Our client is currently seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join their growing Family Law team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside well-respected Partners and lawyers who are passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining a healthy and supportive team dynamic.

You’ll manage a broad range of files across parenting, property settlements, financial agreements, and spousal maintenance. The work includes high-net-worth matters and complex disputes, offering meaningful client engagement and variety in your day-to-day. You'll be encouraged to work autonomously, but never alone — ongoing mentorship and access to a national network of experts ensure you’re supported at every stage.

The firm values open communication, career development, and a positive team culture. You'll be part of a workplace that invests in your long-term growth while giving you the flexibility and tools to thrive.

Key Requirements:
  • 3–8 years’ post-admission experience in family law
  • Experience managing both parenting and property matters
  • Strong communication skills with a client-centred approach
  • Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
  • Commitment to delivering practical, empathetic legal solutions
On offer:
  • A welcoming and inclusive team that values work-life balance
  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options
  • Ongoing mentoring and national CPD opportunities
  • Discounts on health insurance, fitness programs, and wellbeing services
  • Access to Employee Assistance Programs and study leave
  • Career progression in a transparent and supportive structure
  • Recognition for your contributions in a high-performing but grounded team
