About the Firm

Our client is a long standing Melbourne firm with strong ties to the local community. They offer a broad practice that includes conveyancing and property, family law, commercial work, wills and estate planning, litigation and dispute resolution, and deceased estates. With a team of around 15 people, lawyers enjoy direct access to senior practitioners, exposure to varied matters and a culture that values clear communication, practical advice and steady development.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will manage a varied mix of family and property matters while working closely with senior colleagues who value collaboration. The work is steady, diverse and suited to someone who enjoys meaningful client contact.

• Managing interim and final family law matters
• Drafting property contracts and overseeing conveyancing files
• Preparing court documents and liaising with counsel
• Providing calm and clear advice in both practice areas
• Balancing autonomy with team based input

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3+ PQE with experience gained in both family and property law
• Confident drafting and file management skills
• Steady communication style with clients and colleagues
• A willingness to grow with the team as responsibilities increase
