Job Description

The Firm:

The Opportunity:

Working alongside two respected partners, you will handle a diverse range of employment law, industrial relations, and litigation matters. This role offers exposure to high-profile and complex workplace law matters, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in employment law.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and advising on employment contracts, policies and procedures.
  • Managing industrial relations issues and advising clients on compliance.
  • Providing guidance on terminations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
  • Interpreting and applying the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).
  • Handling litigation matters, including unfair dismissal, general protections, and breach of contract claims.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • 4-6 years’ PAE in workplace relations, employment and safety law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and litigation experience.
  • The ability to provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to client relationships.
