Job Description

Our client, a respected independent Australian law firm with a supportive and inclusive culture, is seeking a Lawyer or Associate with 2+ years’ experience in Workplace Health & Safety or Employment law to join their team in Sydney or Newcastle.

You will work on a broad range of matters including workplace incidents, prosecutions, inquests, regulatory investigations, psychosocial incidents, and compliance with road transport, heavy vehicle, and building safety laws. You’ll operate with autonomy, supported by a national team of specialist lawyers.

  • Competitive salary range of $110,000 – $160,000 + super, depending on experience

About you
  • 2+ years post-admission experience in Workplace Health & Safety or Employment law practice
  • Experience or keen interest in investigations, prosecutions, and inquests
  • Strong analytical, drafting, communication, and organisational skills
  • Collaborative, client-focused, and motivated to grow in a specialist team environment
