Our client is seeking a seasoned Workplace Relations & Safety Lawyer to join their thriving Sydney-based team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-profile, challenging, and rewarding matters. The successful candidate will work closely with Partners and senior lawyers, managing files end-to-end and contributing to a high-performing team.

About the position: This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-profile, challenging, and rewarding matters. The successful candidate will work closely with Partners and senior lawyers, managing files end-to-end and contributing to a high-performing team.
You’ll work on diverse and complex matters including:
- Employment disputes and contractual issues
- Advisory work on Fair Work Act compliance and legislative interpretation
- Managing redundancy and termination strategies
- Restraint of trade disputes and discrimination claims
- Health and safety investigations, prosecutions, and risk mitigation
- Advising on enterprise agreements and industrial relations matters
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on sophisticated files with nationally significant clients, while developing your leadership, mentoring junior lawyers, and driving client relationships.
Key Requirements: - Minimum 5 years PAE in workplace relations and/or safety law
- Proven experience in both advisory and litigious employment matters
- Confident in managing files autonomously from instruction to resolution
- Strong client relationship skills with a commercial mindset
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Passion for employment and safety law and a drive to grow your practice
