About the position:

Our client is seeking a Junior Insurance Lawyer (1–2 years PAE) to join their Sydney-based team and work closely with a highly regarded Principal who brings extensive experience across commercial litigation, insurance, and transport matters.
This role will see you working on a dynamic mix of litigation files, including:

• Insurance claims, particularly heavy motor and transport-related disputes
• Debt recovery and enforcement actions
• Contractual and commercial interpretation matters
• Corporations law and matters involving commercial fraud
• General commercial litigation involving both corporate clients and individuals

You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of files while receiving ongoing guidance and mentorship from a seasoned litigator. This is an ideal role for a junior lawyer looking to build a strong foundation across multiple areas of commercial law within a supportive and client-focused environment.

Key Requirements:

• 1–2 years PAE in litigation or insurance (open to strong graduates with experience)
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills
• Strong interest in insurance, transport law, and commercial disputes
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a high-performance environment
