Our client, an established Sydney CBD boutique, is looking for an IP lawyer with a following who wants to run their own practice with marketing and systems behind them. The role is a Salaried Partner or Special Counsel on a package of $250K to $300K, plus bonuses, and your practice is expected to at least cover your salary.

About the role
Run an intellectual property practice as your own.
• Advise on trade marks, copyright, designs and brand protection
• Handle licensing and IP disputes
• Bring existing clients and win new work
• Use the firm's marketing and business development support
• Develop junior lawyers

What you'll bring
• Substantial intellectual property experience, typically 8 or more years
• A client base that can at least cover the cost of your salary package
• A business development mindset
• A current Australian practising certificate
• Willingness to work mainly from the Sydney CBD office
