About the position:

This opportunity is ideal for experienced litigators ready to step into leadership roles within a growing firm. Our client is seeking aSenior Associate or Special Counsel to join their litigation and insolvency team in Sydney.
In this role, you will:
  • Work across high-value disputes including corporate, insolvency and regulatory litigation
  • Advise clients including insolvency practitioners, directors and financial professionals
  • Manage complex files end-to-end with autonomy and strategic input
  • Provide written legal advice on commercial disputes, enforcement actions and restructures
  • Mentor junior lawyers and support the development of a high-performing legal team
  • Contribute to practice development and enjoy support in business growth initiatives
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 4+ years PAE in commercial litigation, insolvency or financial disputes
  • Ability to manage files independently with a proactive and commercial approach
  • Outstanding drafting, advisory and analytical skills
  • Strong ethical foundation and commitment to excellence
  • Experience advising insolvency practitioners or boards is highly desirable
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and leadership
  • Ambition to grow into a senior leadership or partnership track role
