Our client is seeking a Senior Associate Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join their Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team in Sydney. This is a strategic, client-facing role that places you at the forefront of major corporate restructuring matters and high-stakes commercial litigation.

About the position:
  
You will work on a high-calibre caseload involving secured enforcement, insolvency processes, receivership litigation, and regulatory issues. Expect to collaborate with insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, and senior executives to provide strategic legal advice and draft tailored agreements to support business recovery and dispute resolution strategies.

Your work will span both contentious and advisory matters, including banking litigation, insolvency engagements, and complex enforcement actions.

Key Requirements:

• 5–7 years' post-admission experience in commercial disputes, insolvency or restructuring
• Strong experience advising secured creditors and conducting enforcement actions
• Working knowledge of receiverships, insolvency processes and financial distress law
• Confidence in drafting legal documents and managing litigation files
• ARITA Advanced Certification preferred but not essential
• Strong commercial acumen and team-oriented mindset
