The Firm
A boutique firm located in the Melbourne CBD is looking to expand its ranks. The firm has a strong Commercial Litigation practice and a growing Family Law expertise. The firm provides a full suite of services to its business and entrepreneurial clients, including but not limited to, transactions, loans and securities, corporate structuring, employment law, and other types of work as and when they arise. The team is cohesive, collaborative and committed to its goal of delivering top-tier firm-quality services with a pro-client approach.
Benefits on Offer:
The salary expectation of $130,000 - $170,000 plus super, subject to experience as assessed by the firm

Responsibilities:
You will be required to work on a range of transactional and litigious commercial matters, and will also work on Family Law matters as well.
As the role is fairly senior, you will be expected to perform your work competently and with minimal assistance.
Establish and maintain existing client relationships and expectations through regular and effective communication.
Provide appropriate mentoring & guidance to junior lawyers.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 5 years PQE in Commercial Law in Australian private practice
Broad experience across Commercial Litigation matters
Experience in Business Development & readily ability to manage client expectations
Motivated to provide excellent client service
Adept commercial acumen and disposition - proactive, innovative and outcome-focused approach
Able to work autonomously.
Excellent communication skills - Confident approach and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
