Join a collaborative Melbourne CBD team to manage public liability and institutional abuse matters with a strong focus on wellbeing, flexibility and client care.

About the Firm:

Our client is an international law firm with a strong footprint in Australia, renowned for their dispute resolution and litigation. Their Insurance Litigation team defends the State of Victoria and community organisations in public liability and institutional abuse claims, all within a culture that prioritises health, diversity and inclusion.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage files end-to-end—from client interviews through to tribunal and court hearings.
• Draft submissions, witness statements and strategic briefs for superior courts.
• Coordinate with barristers, regulators and multidisciplinary teams on complex matters.
• Contribute to firm committees and wellbeing initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

• Admission in Victoria with 4+ yrs PQE in litigation, insurance law or related fields.
• Experience in public liability, personal injury or institutional abuse matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Empathy, resilience and the ability to thrive in a high-support environment.
