Our client is a well-established boutique law firm based on the Gold Coast, offering a high level of expertise across property, commercial, and development law. With deep ties to the local business and property sectors, the firm has built a reputation for its tailored legal solutions, approachable culture, and enduring client relationships.

The practice is defined by its team-focused, down-to-earth culture—lawyers here are given room to grow, the flexibility to manage their time, and the trust to run matters with autonomy.

About the Position: A fantastic opportunity now exists for a Senior Property Lawyer (5+ years PAE) to join our client’s expanding team.

In this role, you will take on a wide array of property law matters, including residential and commercial acquisitions, off-the-plan transactions, subdivisions, development approvals, leasing, and titling structures. The firm services an impressive client base including local developers, private investors, family-owned businesses, and high-net-worth individuals.

This role suits a confident, self-managed lawyer who wants to escape the rigidity of large firms without sacrificing interesting work. You’ll enjoy autonomy while receiving support when needed, all within a genuinely positive and relaxed work environment. If you're looking to embed yourself in a firm that values client service, collaboration, and community—this is a rare opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and advise on residential, commercial, and off-the-plan transactions
  • Handle subdivisions, titling, easements, and planning-related documentation
  • Draft and review commercial leases, business contracts, and trust structuring
  • Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
  • Assist with related commercial and estate planning matters where appropriate
  • Maintain and develop strong professional relationships with clients
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years post-admission experience in Property Law (private practice only)
  • Ability to manage a full range of property transactions independently
  • Familiarity with QLD conveyancing systems, PEXA, and relevant authorities (QRO, LTO, ATO)
  • High attention to detail, solid drafting skills, and a practical mindset
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Previous experience in commercial or estates work is highly regarded
  • Approachable, team-oriented, and client-first attitude
