Associate or Senior Associate – Property
Sydney or Newcastle
$150,000–$200,000 + super

This role sits in a growing national Property & Projects team and offers quality exposure across property, development and social infrastructure matters.
You can be based in Newcastle full-time, or in Sydney with travel to Newcastle at least one day a week.

About the role

You’ll advise on a broad range of general property law matters.
That includes acquisitions and disposals, options, leases, licences, easements, restrictive covenants, Crown Land and regulatory matters.
The practice also works across:
  • major tenders
  • property development projects
  • social and affordable housing projects
  • social infrastructure matters
  • activation and divestment of government land
  • land due diligence
  • multi-million-dollar purchases and sales
  • commercial and retail leasing
This is a role for a lawyer who wants variety, strong client exposure and room to grow.

What you'll bring
You’ll ideally have:
  • 3 to 7 years’ post-admission experience in property law
  • strong experience across general property transactions and advisory work
  • excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • a commercial, solutions-focused mindset
  • strong client relationship skills
  • excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
