You can be based in Newcastle full-time, or in Sydney with travel to Newcastle at least one day a week.

About the role
You’ll advise on a broad range of general property law matters.
That includes acquisitions and disposals, options, leases, licences, easements, restrictive covenants, Crown Land and regulatory matters.
The practice also works across:
- major tenders
- property development projects
- social and affordable housing projects
- social infrastructure matters
- activation and divestment of government land
- land due diligence
- multi-million-dollar purchases and sales
- commercial and retail leasing
This is a role for a lawyer who wants variety, strong client exposure and room to grow.
What you'll bring You’ll ideally have:
- 3 to 7 years’ post-admission experience in property law
- strong experience across general property transactions and advisory work
- excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
- the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- a commercial, solutions-focused mindset
- strong client relationship skills
- excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
