About the Position:
 
Our client is looking for a skilled Locum Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound services across a range of modalities. You’ll enjoy working in a modern, well-equipped department with a supportive and professional multidisciplinary team. Whether you're looking for a short break from the city or a medium-term rural contract, flexible arrangements can be made to suit your availability.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound scans including general, obstetrics, MSK, and basic interventional procedures
• Apply clinical judgement and tailor scanning protocols to individual patient needs
• Participate in the department’s roster, including on-call when required
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols

 
 
Key Requirements:

• ASAR-accredited Sonographer with postgraduate qualifications in Medical Ultrasound
• Proficient across general, obstetrics, and MSK ultrasound; interventional experience desirable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Confidence in working independently and adapting to different clinical settings
• Commitment to quality imaging, patient care, and continuing professional development

 
 
On Offer:

• Attractive hourly rates up to $110/hr + super (based on experience and scan proficiency)
