Job Description

An exciting opportunity has opened up with a forward-thinking, family-owned business that’s expanding its footprint in the Occupational Rehabilitation space. Known for their personalised approach and commitment to meaningful outcomes, this organisation is looking for an Occupational Therapist ready to take on a leadership role and help drive the next phase of their growth.

If you're an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant with a background as an OT with a passion for mentoring others, this is your chance to step into a role that offers more than just clinical work. You'll begin with a reduced caseload, giving you the space to focus on building a high-performing team and shaping service delivery across the department.

Your impact will stretch beyond individual clients, you’ll be empowering fellow clinicians, driving innovation, and contributing to a culture of excellence that puts both people and performance at the heart of everything.

About the Role:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Rehabilitation Consultants to deliver high-quality, client-centred services.
  • Play a pivotal role in fostering clinical excellence, professional growth, and a supportive team culture.
  • Oversee service delivery and provide guidance on complex cases, while maintaining a reduced personal caseload.
  • Support new team members through onboarding, training, and ongoing development, ensuring confidence and capability from day one.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve workflows, rehabilitation strategies, and client outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with employers, medical professionals, and insurers to support best-practice rehabilitation.
  • Contribute to early intervention planning, review clinical documentation, and uphold compliance standards across the team.
  • Occasionally conduct assessments or site visits to provide hands-on support or model best practices.
What’s on Offer:
  • Competitive Salary – rewarding package that reflects your leadership and impact up to $140,000 + Super
  • Steppingstone Leadership Role – Start with a manageable caseload while you build your team, then transition into a coaching and leadership focus with minimal to no caseload over time.
  • Senior Influence – shape strategy and play a key role in business growth
  • Quarterly Bonuses – performance-based incentives and long-term loyalty rewards
  • Supportive Team Culture – work with like-minded professionals in a collaborative setting and monthly social events!
  • Career Progression – opportunities to grow with a forward-thinking organisation
  • Earning potential – benefit from a % of billable revenue based on performance of your team
  • A strong social committee – run by the team, for the team—expect regular social events, celebrations, and plenty of laughs along the way!
What you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Passionate about quality, growth, and mentoring
  • Confident leader with strong people skills
  • Skilled in designing and delivering training
