This growing Wollongong OT provider offers genuine flexibility around how clinicians structure their week.
If your first appointment is close to home, you don’t need to drive into the clinic first just for the sake of being there.
You may instead complete reports from home in the morning, travel directly to your appointment and structure the rest of your day around your diary.
Your Week Could Include
- Working from home on reports
- Community appointments
- Clinic-based days
- Travelling directly from home to clients
- Finishing your day from home after nearby appointments
Some days may be predominantly client-facing, while others may be almost entirely report writing.
The role is roughly balanced between
face-to-face clinical work and reporting/documentation, giving you variety throughout the week.
Keep Your Travel Manageable Approximately
90% of referrals are within Wollongong and the wider Illawarra region, with most clients located within around 30 minutes of the team’s base.
Longer-distance referrals do arise occasionally, but these are managed within the team.
The Caseload This is an entirely
adult and older adult OT role, with no paediatrics.
You’ll work across:
- Mental health
- Psychosocial disability
- ASD
- ADHD
- Cognitive conditions
- Physical disability
- Neurological conditions
- Aged care
- Falls prevention
Your clinical work can include:
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Home modifications
- Assistive technology
- Equipment prescription
- Housing assessments
- ADL assessments
- Ramps and rails
- Bathroom modifications
- Falls prevention
The Team: You’ll join a growing independent practice operating from a
brand-new Wollongong clinic.
There is dedicated administration support to assist with bookings and day-to-day coordination, alongside an expanding clinical team.
The Director has more than 10 years of OT experience and places a strong emphasis on compassionate, relationship-based care.
Expectations The current productivity expectation is approximately
5.5 billable hours per day, inclusive of reasonable preparation and documentation time.
