Job Description

A leading paediatric practice, with locations across NSW and the ACT, are looking to add a full-time Psychologist to their Canberra team.

The practice has been operating for 15 years and was founded with the mission of providing holistic services for children and their families under one roof. This vision has been realised with the practice now operating across seven locations and employing over 70 Allied Health professionals.

The Canberra team are delighted to be able to offer a full-time position to a Psychologist with an ASAP start.

  • Full Admin Support: A full-time administration team offer you support with management of bookings, billing, printing, cancellations and more.
  • Multidisciplinary Team: Have the opportunity to collaborate with other Allied Health professionals, including other Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists.
  • Comprehensive Onboarding Process: Have the Psychology lead support you in mapping out your first 90 days with a reduced caseload.

Your duties will include:
  • Delivering exceptional therapeutic services and assessments (not ASD or ADHD assessment) to a caseload of children aged 2yr-18r and their families.
  • Seeing clients from a range of referral pathways, predominantly NDIS and Medicare.
  • Collaborating with and contributing to the wider team.
  • See a maximum of 5 clients per day once onboarding is complete.
  • Work on a shift pattern of 7.00am - 12.30pm, or 12.30pm - 6pm.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration and WWCC
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare provider number
