Independent Contractor Psychologist needed in CBD clinic to provide assessment and therapeutic services to a range of clients.
A sought after opportunity has opened up in an established Psychology practice in the heart of Melbourne CBD.
Our client has been operating since 2007 providing exceptional therapies to clients nationwide, via both face-to-face and Telehealth models. Due to an increase in demand, they are seeking to appoint an additional Psychologist 2-3 days per week on a contracting basis.

- Outstanding Administrative Support: A full-time administration team offer you support with management of bookings, billing and cancellations five days per week.

- Multiple Referral Streams: Have a full diary from day one, with referrals coming from GPs, Paediatricians, NDIS, Salvation Army and other charities, private clients and more.
- Tailored Caseload: Fill out a competency sheet as part of your onboarding, establishing clear boundaries around the clients you are comfortable seeing.
- Clinical Autonomy: Enjoy true independence in your work as a contractor with the benefit of a wider team to socialise with if desired.
Your duties will include:
- Engaging in therapy and/or assessments with clients.
- Maintaining relationships and correspondence with referring doctors and other allied health practitioners.
- Upkeep of fundamental admin such as case notes, file management and the upholding of all required legal and ethical standards.
Requirements/Skills: - Tertiary qualification in Psychology
- AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
- Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
- Proficiency in ASD and/or ADHD assessment will be highly regarded.
