Job Description

This QLD based organisation boasts a dynamic team of 36 dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on their NDIS clients. The company fosters an inclusive and supportive team culture, where every team member is valued and supported.
  • Salary ranging from $75,000 - $130,000 + Super
  • WFH Option for admin and flexible working hours
  • Tailored caseload to your interests and 30minutes from your home
Benefits:
  • Tailored Caseload to your interests and 30 minutes within your home location - if longer, return travel is compensated
  • A car allowance of 75 cents per kilometres is provided, along with toll reimbursement
  • Client Variety: The role involves working with NDIS participants, private clients, and Medicare cases, allowing the therapist to gain exposure to different funding streams.
  • Supportive Environment: Regular one-on-one sessions with the director and group meetings with senior staff foster a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
  • Work-Life Balance: The position offers a 9-day fortnight and flexible calendar management, with opportunities for time off in lieu and WFH administrative work.
  • Professional Development: A pro-rata allowance of $1000 for three days of professional development per year, along with additional flexible in house training opportunities.
  • Bonuses: Therapists have the opportunity to earn bonuses for exceeding billable hour targets, with 15% of the charge-out rate and an additional $30 per extra hour.
The Role:

You will conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties, diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy interventions. You will see 4-5 clients a day (5 billable hours which includes; travel, face to face consults and NDIS report writing), collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor clients' progress, document observations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Additionally, you will educate clients and their families on speech and communication disorders, treatment approaches, and provide guidance for home exercises and activities to support progress.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA membership
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
