Job Description

  • Salaries starting at $80,000 - $100,000 + Super + Benefits
  • Adult only caseload in a clinic and community role (4 day clinic and 1 day community)
  • $2000 Professional development support, fortnightly in services, fortnightly group supervision, optional 1:1 weekly supervision
This family-run allied health provider covering the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, and other areas in South-East Queensland, offers face-to-face therapy for all ages, crafting personalized care plans to achieve goals and enhance independence. 

Benefits:

  • Travel cap of 30mins from home location for community work
  • Optional weekly or fortnightly supervision with a Senior SP with 5+ years in the industry
  • Fortnightly in house training (MDT & SP)
  • Fortnightly group supervision

  • Bonus structure - $80 per additional hour when you exceed your billable target
  • Option to work a 9 day fortnight or condensed working week

About the role:

You will see adult clients with neurodiverse conditions, psycho social needs and Parkinson's predominantly in the clinic space located near Varsity Lakes. You will be supporting clients with;
  • Developmental delays or speech and language disorders
  • Speech or language impairments caused by stroke, traumatic brain injury, or degenerative diseases such as dementia
  • Difficulty with reading, writing, or literacy skills
  • Difficulty with social communication, such as understanding nonverbal cues or initiating conversations
  • Alternative or augmentative ways to communicate (such as a low or high technology device)
Team Culture:

This small allied health organisation prides itself on its collaborative and supportive team culture who value a keep the fun attitude. With 4 experienced SP's and 15 experienced OT's, this team likes to get together for quarterly social events such as; trips to an inflatable water park, dinners and drinks out, boat party Christmas events and murder mystery nights.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA membership
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
