About the position

Our client is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our clients’ team and support day-to-day clinical operations. This is a hands-on chairside role where you’ll help keep appointments running smoothly, assist with a wide range of treatments, and ensure patients feel calm, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit.

You may assist with procedures including (but not limited to):
  • Examinations, treatment planning support and preventative care
  • Scale and clean appointments and oral health education support
  • Composite fillings, crowns and bridges
  • Tooth extractions and management of dental emergencies
  • Root canal therapy support and impressions where required
  • Teeth whitening and post-treatment care instructions
Key Requirements
  • Experience as a Dental Assistant preferred (training considered for the right candidate)
  • Strong understanding of infection control, sterilisation and instrument processing
  • Confident chairside assisting and ability to anticipate clinician needs
  • Professional, warm communication and a patient-first approach
  • Strong time management and ability to thrive in a busy schedule
  • Willingness to assist with occasional admin tasks (phones/bookings/payments) as needed
  • Australian work rights and reliability for a full-time roster
