About the position:

Our client is looking for a Full-Time Dental Practice Manager to take ownership of daily operations and lead the admin function across the clinic. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance people management, patient journey excellence, and performance outcomes.

You’ll work closely with Dentists and the clinical team delivering a broad range of treatments such as check-ups and cleans, preventive care, composite fillings, crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, extractions, emergency appointments, and supporting treatment coordination for services like root canal therapy and dentures. Your focus is ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, efficiently, and professionally—every day.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and performance-manage reception/admin staff
• Oversee appointment book strategy, recalls, reactivations, and workflow improvements
• Manage rosters, onboarding, training, and team engagement
• Support patient communication, service recovery, and complaint resolution
• Maintain strong compliance standards (privacy, infection control processes, policies)
• Coordinate stock/suppliers, clinic presentation, and day-to-day problem solving
• Track KPIs, report on clinic performance, and implement process improvements

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager 
• Strong leadership capability and confidence handling busy clinic demands
• Solid knowledge of dental operations: billing, scheduling, recalls, and patient flow
• Experience with practice management software (Exact, Dental4Windows, Core Practice, or similar)
• Professional communication style and a calm, solutions-first approach
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
