Job Description

DENTIST | High Earning Upside + Mentored Growth | Northern Tasmania

Our client is looking for a motivated Dentist to join our client’s team in a rapidly growing boutique practice in Northern Tasmania. This opportunity is built for a Dentist who wants to increase billings quickly, step into higher-value dentistry with support, and lock in a long-term career path in a high-quality clinic.
Why this role is financially attractive
  • 3 days per week or full-time (more days = more billings)
  • Strong internal referrals (the in-house Therapist is fully booked)
  • Growing practice = increasing patient demand and room to build a busy schedule fast
  • Mentorship designed to help you confidently move into higher-revenue procedures over time
  • Relocation support available (reduce the cost of making the move)
Clinical scope that supports strong billings
You’ll be supported to deliver a broad mix of general and advanced dentistry, including:
  • Comprehensive exams, diagnosis, treatment planning and patient education
  • Preventive care and long-term maintenance to build a loyal patient base
  • Restorative dentistry: composite fillings, crowns and bridges
  • Endodontics: pain management and root canal therapy
  • Surgical dentistry: extractions and surgical workflows
  • Paediatric and family dentistry (great for consistent recall and steady demand)
  • Prosthodontics and complex treatment sequencing
  • Cosmetic dentistry: smile makeovers and aesthetic treatment planning
  • Digital dentistry with an on-site scanner
  • Pathways into Invisalign, implants, and more complex cases (with mentoring)
Mentorship that increases your income ceiling
  • Hands-on guidance from an experienced Principal Dentist
  • Ideal for new grads or Dentists with 1–2+ years’ experience wanting to accelerate
  • Support to improve speed, confidence, and case presentation (without compromising ethics or care)
  • Strong systems, organised workflow, and dedicated Dental Assistants to keep your day productive
Practice environment
  • Boutique, modern practice with recently renovated, purpose-built surgeries
  • Calm, patient-first culture with a focus on clinician wellbeing (sustainable high performance)
  • Excellent support staff and structured systems
  • Growing demand in Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry
  • Strong reputation and community trust
Why Northern Tasmania works for your wallet (and lifestyle)
  • Lower cost of living than mainland capitals—keep more of what you earn
  • High patient demand and long-term career potential
  • Mild seasons, outdoor lifestyle, cafés and walking tracks
  • Family-friendly communities with solid schooling options
The ideal Dentist
  • AHPRA registered Dentist
  • New graduates encouraged (or 1–2+ years’ experience)
  • Motivated by growth: wants to build a busy book and expand clinical skills
  • Strong communicator with a patient-centred approach
  • Looking for a long-term role with clear progression
If you want a role where the schedule can grow quickly and your earning potential rises as your skills do, this is a standout option.
