About the company

Our client is a well-established dental clinic in Victoria, recognised for delivering high-quality care in a welcoming, community-focused environment. The practice offers a broad mix of treatments such as preventive care, fillings and restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, extractions, teeth whitening, veneers and dental emergencies.


You’ll be joining our clients’ team in a clinic that prides itself on calm workflows, excellent communication and a genuinely supportive culture.


About the position Our client is looking for a Dental Assistant who enjoys hands-on clinical work and helping patients feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with experienced Dentists and a tight-knit team, with exposure to a variety of procedures and room for growth.


In this role, you will:
  • Assist chairside across general and restorative procedures
  • Prepare rooms, instruments and materials for daily clinical flow
  • Support treatments such as fillings, crowns, extractions, whitening and emergency visits
  • Maintain infection control standards and sterilisation processes
  • Help with patient care, comfort and clear communication
  • Assist with stock control and keeping clinical areas organised
  • Support reception tasks when needed (clinic-dependent)
Key Requirements
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred) or relevant experience
  • Confident chairside assistance and strong patient care approach
  • Previous reception experience highly regarded
  • High standards for sterilisation and infection control
  • Reliable, team-focused and calm under pressure
  • Great communication and a professional, friendly manner
  • Experience with dental software is a plus (training available)
