About the Position If you love the satisfaction of helping patients, working with great colleagues and having a little variety in your day, this role could be an excellent fit.

You'll join our client's team in a hands-on Dental Assistant position that combines clinical assisting, patient interaction and occasional reception responsibilities.

Working alongside experienced Dentists, you'll assist with treatments such as general dental examinations, preventive care, fillings, crowns and extractions.
From helping an anxious patient feel comfortable to supporting a smooth and organised surgery, you'll enjoy a role where no two days feel exactly the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly, attentive chairside assistance across general dental treatments
• Helping create a relaxed, positive experience for patients
• Preparing treatment rooms and managing surgery changeovers
• Ensuring instruments are sterilised and infection control standards are maintained
• Assisting at reception and welcoming patients when required
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to keep the day running smoothly

Key Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant – essential
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting highly regarded
• A positive, approachable personality and genuine enjoyment of patient interaction
• Confidence assisting with general dental procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterilisation and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication, organisation and multitasking skills
• Dental reception experience advantageous
• A reliable, flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider team
