Orange Health Service is seeking a Locum General Medicine Registrar to support medical coverage across a regional hospital setting.

This role is ideal for a registrar wanting meaningful General Medicine experience in one of Central West NSW’s most popular regional centres.

You will support ward-based care, patient reviews, management planning, documentation and escalation of care when required.

Clinical Environment

• General Medicine Registrar role
• Hospital-based locum position in Orange
• Weekday shifts, generally 08:00 – 16:30
• Supportive team environment
• Senior escalation pathways available

Key Duties

• Review and manage General Medicine patients
• Support ward-based care and clinical reviews
• Complete documentation and handover
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Work collaboratively with nursing, allied health and medical teams

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Recent General Medicine registrar-level experience
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
• Current CV and compliance documents as required
