The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum General Medicine Registrar to provide locum support to the Emergency Department Medical Assessment Unit (ED MPU) in the Hunter New England region.
You will assess and manage acute general medical patients in a multidisciplinary team, working closely with physicians, nursing staff and allied health.
Rates are up to $200 per hour, depending on shift type and experience.

Clinical Environment
- Exposure to a broad general medical case mix with an ED interface
- Opportunity to refine diagnostic and decision-making skills in acute care
- Supportive supervision from general physicians and senior clinicians
- Collaborative setting with structured handovers and escalation processes

Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum PGY3 with recent general medicine or acute care experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete health service onboarding and credentialing
