The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Surgical Registrar to support surgical roster coverage at a regional hospital in the Hunter New England region.
This role suits a registrar with recent surgical experience who wants to work in a region with coastal and country lifestyles within easy reach.
Shifts are paid at $180 per hour.

Clinical Environment
- Surgical registrar cover supporting surgical patients across rostered shifts
- Ward-based care, acute reviews, management plans and escalation
- Supportive team environment with escalation pathways available
- Regional hospital setting within the Hunter New England region

Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- Recent surgical experience at registrar level
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
- Current CV, references and compliance documents
