The Opportunity:

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking an experienced Senior Emergency Medicine Doctor to provide locum coverage at Lithgow Hospital.

This role is ideal for doctors confident in independently managing a wide range of emergency presentations while supporting junior staff within a well-resourced regional hospital.

Shifts are available immediately, with block or ad-hoc bookings to suit your schedule.

Clinical Environment:

• Manage diverse emergency presentations including trauma, cardiac, and paediatric cases
• Work autonomously with access to consultant support as needed
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to RMOs and SRMOs
• Enjoy a balanced roster that supports lifestyle and professional growth

Eligibility Criteria:

• Current AHPRA Registration (General or Specialist)
• Advanced Life Support (ALS2) certification
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete local credentialing and onboarding

What's Provided:

• Up to $280 p/hr, depending on experience
