Our client is a growing North West Sydney law firm with a strong, established pipeline of family law work and a long-term plan to expand into the city. They are looking for a Family Lawyer with 3+ years PAE who wants real ownership of their files, a team that values its people and room to grow as the firm does.
  
The firm is also expanding into the Sydney CBD in early 2027 and there will be excellent flexibility offered.

About the role

• Manage your own caseload of family law matters, from first instructions through to resolution
• Handle a combination of complex and straightforward matters, with a focus on high-value work
• Advise clients on parenting arrangements, property settlements and separation [confirm]
• Negotiate settlements and prepare matters for mediation and court [confirm court appearance level]
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to the firm's growth as the practice expands

What you'll bring

• Minimum 3+ years PAE in family law
• Admission to practise in NSW with a current practising certificate
• The confidence to manage your own matters with minimal supervision
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with a calm and empathetic manner with clients
• A commitment to being part of a positive team culture
