Our client is a well-regarded suburban law group with a strong local presence in the Macarthur region.

They’re looking for an experienced Family Lawyer to take ownership of their family law work and manage it from first instructions through to final resolution.


The role

• Manage a family law caseload end to end, including parenting matters, property settlements, divorce and financial agreements
• Work autonomously, with the trust and space to run your own files
• Appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court as required
• Build strong relationships with clients, who are mainly local families and individuals
• Work with a capable, supportive team, with good support staff behind you

What’s on offer

• Salary of $150,000–$160,000 plus superannuation
• No billable hours or time targets
• Regular business hours, 9–5, with no late nights and no weekend work
• Good support staff provided
• A suburban practice where you’re known and valued rather than a number in a large firm
• Genuine autonomy and variety, with a stable local client base

About you

• Admitted lawyer with solid post-admission family law experience, with the confidence to run matters independently from start to finish
• Strong client skills, with a practical, empathetic and commercial approach
• Sound knowledge of family law practice and procedure in NSW
• Organised and self-directed, with the judgement to know when to escalate
• Ideally based in or near Campbelltown and the Macarthur region, or willing to commute
