About the Position: Our client is offering a career-defining opportunity for an ambitious Senior Family Lawyer to take on a pivotal role within their established Darwin office. You will work alongside a high-performing team of four lawyers and dedicated support staff, handling complex, high-value family law matters across:
  • Parenting disputes and long-term parenting arrangements
  • High-net-worth property divisions and financial settlements
  • Divorce proceedings, spousal maintenance, and de facto relationships
  • Drafting and negotiating binding financial agreements
  • Interstate relocations and recovery matters
This role offers more than day-to-day legal work—it’s an opportunity to shape your career long term. You'll be actively involved in business development, team mentorship, and strategic planning, with a clear route to leadership roles within the firm. Charge-out rates range from $455 to $570, supported by a transparent, performance-based bonus system.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years PAE in Family Law within private practice
  • Experience managing a diverse and complex family law caseload
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to firm growth
  • Confident in advocacy, negotiation, and litigation strategy
  • Commercially minded with strong organisational skills
