Job Description

Step into a leadership position where empathy meets strategy. Help shape the future of a growing firm.

About the Company:

Our client is a values-driven Wills & Estates firm with a reputation for providing specialised advice across estate planning, probate, estate disputes and elder law. Built on a foundation of care, clarity and collaboration, the firm offers practical guidance to high-net-worth clients and families navigating complex matters. With steady growth, no staff turnover, and a truly inclusive culture, the firm is entering its next strategic phase.

About the Position:

You’ll join as a Special Counsel or Partner and help lead the next chapter of the firm’s journey. Reporting to a highly respected Principal who has transitioned from big law to build a practice rooted in trust and autonomy, you’ll manage complex matters end-to-end — from structuring testamentary trusts to contested estate disputes. As a visible leader, you’ll also mentor junior lawyers, contribute to firm strategy, and support a relaxed but high-performing office.

Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years’ experience across estate planning and litigation
  • Portable practice of $150k+ required
  • Accredited specialist in Wills & Estates (or interest in becoming one) highly advantageous but not essential
  • Strong client relationship and mentoring skills
What’s On Offer:
  • $180k–$200k+ salary with bonus/equity tied to transferable practice value
  • 5–5.5 billable hours/day – no burnout culture
  • Supportive leadership, true influence, and a say in growth
  • Office-based leadership with flexible hours
