Senior Family Lawyer - Sydney
Our client is seeking an experienced

Salary Range & Features of the Position - $150,000–$250,000 + Super (commensurate with experience)

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Family Lawyer (minimum 5+ years PAE) to join a busy Melbourne family law team that specializes in delivering strategic, clear and client-focused legal services across the full spectrum of family law matters. The practice supports clients through highly emotional and legally complex stages of separation and dispute, offering personalized legal guidance from initial consultation through to resolution.
You will provide expert advice and representation in areas including:
- Divorce and separation matters, guiding clients through eligibility, applications and final orders
- Parenting arrangements and child support matters, including practical, child-centered solutions
- Property settlements, financial agreements and asset division
- Spousal maintenance and financial issues after separation
- Relocation and intervention order matters
- Mediation and dispute resolution services, helping clients achieve early and cost-effective outcomes
You’ll manage your own files with autonomy while collaborating with experienced colleagues, contribute to mentoring junior lawyers, build referral networks, and support the continued delivery of high-quality family law services to a diverse client base.
Key Requirements - Minimum 5 years PAE in family law
- Ability to manage files autonomously and provide strategic legal advice
- Strong advocacy, negotiation and client management skills
- Commercially minded with excellent time management
- Interest in mentoring and contributing to team development
- A collaborative approach and commitment to quality outcomes
