About the position:

Our client is looking for a Property Lawyer (1–3 PQE) to join our clients' team in a busy and expanding property practice. This role suits a lawyer who enjoys taking ownership, building client relationships, and developing their technical skills in a supportive environment.

  • Commercial and industrial sales and acquisitions (including due diligence and transaction support)
  • Commercial and retail leasing (acting for landlords and tenants)
  • Property development matters (including development documents and project support)
  • Off-the-plan sales and purchases
  • Put and call options, nominations and related agreements
  • Strata and complex property dealings
  • Transactions involving hospitality assets
  • Exposure to construction contracts and property-related finance matters, where relevant
You’ll also collaborate with other teams on property aspects of broader commercial matters, giving you variety and a wider skill set.

Key Requirements:
  • 1–3 years’ PQE experience in commercial property (or a mixed property practice with solid commercial exposure)
  • Confidence across commercial acquisitions/disposals and leasing
  • Exposure to development work (or a genuine interest in building capability in this area)
  • Strong drafting skills, attention to detail and sound file management
  • A practical, commercially minded approach with a focus on client outcomes
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a close-knit team
  • Admitted (or eligible for admission) to practise in Australia
