Job Description

Employment Lawyer – Workplace Investigations
This is a rare chance to join a specialist employment law practice where workplace investigations are a genuine pillar of the work, not just an occasional add-on. You’ll be part of a collaborative senior team handling sophisticated employer-side matters from a well-located Sydney CBD office.
For the right lawyer, it offers the mix many candidates ask for but do not often find together: strong salary, hybrid flexibility, quality matters, respected mentors and real support behind the scenes.

Why you'll love it here

The package is compelling: $140,000-$180,000 plus additional bonuses, hybrid working and a specialist environment focused on employment law and investigations. You’ll work with experienced senior lawyers in a practice known for employer advisory work, investigations and a high standard of client service.

There is also a lot to like day to day: CBD location, quality systems and support, a progressive culture, and the chance to build your profile in a practice acting for major corporate and public sector clients.

About the role

You’ll conduct workplace investigations and advise on a broad spread of employment law issues, including equal opportunity, termination of employment and industrial relations.

The role offers a strong mix of technical legal work and people-facing advisory work. It is full time, hybrid and based in Sydney CBD.

What you'll bring

You will ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ PAE in employment law, with sound drafting, communication and stakeholder skills.

Lawyers already working in investigations or employer-side advisory work should find this especially attractive.
You do not need to be the finished article. What matters most is solid employment law experience, professionalism, good judgement and a style that works well in sensitive workplace matter
