About the Position: Our client is seeking a motivated Lawyer or Associate to join their high-performing WRES team in Brisbane. This is not just another legal job — it’s a genuine launchpad for long-term career success.

You'll work side-by-side with award-winning Partners and senior lawyers who are invested in your professional growth. From day one, you’ll be exposed to a structured development framework, with clear KPIs, regular feedback, and tailored support to guide you through Associate, Senior Associate and future Partner pathways.

You’ll advise and advocate across a high-quality mix of matters, including:
  • Complex employment law advisory
  • Enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes
  • General protections and unfair dismissal claims
  • WHS investigations, prosecutions and compliance
  • Representing clients from government, education, health, and private sectors
This is an ideal position for someone who is ready to build a long-term future in WRES with a national practice that genuinely fosters advancement and celebrates internal promotion.

Key Requirements:
  • 3–5 years PAE in employment, industrial relations or WHS law (Private practice only)
  • Experience handling both advisory and litigious WRES matters
  • A commercial mindset and strong client management skills
  • Confidence in dealing with complex legislation and advocacy
  • A team-oriented approach and genuine interest in mentoring and being mentored
