About the position:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Insurance Litigation Lawyer with 1–3 years PAE to join our client’s expanding Sydney team. The role offers exposure to high-value and complex professional indemnity and financial lines disputes, including:

• Professional negligence
• Misleading or deceptive conduct
• Minority shareholder oppression
• Wrongful dismissal
• Insurance coverage issues (aggregation, non-disclosure, notification)

You will work closely with a high-performing Principal on sophisticated matters involving professional indemnity claims, insurance brokers, and policy-related disputes across financial lines, public liability, and ISR claims.
This is a hands-on role offering:

• Direct client contact
• Opportunity to contribute to case strategy and outcomes
• Exposure to large-scale, multi-party matters
• One-on-one mentoring and genuine career development

Key Requirements:

• 1–3 years PAE with exposure or interest in insurance litigation, financial lines or professional indemnity
• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative mindset and a proactive, team-first attitude
