About The Firm
Our client is a leading national law firm with a practice spanning dispute resolution, insurance, debt collection, building and construction, insolvency, corporate and commercial litigation, planning law and property law. With clear ambitions to grow their NSW litigation practice, they are looking to add an intermediate to senior litigator to their Sydney team.
About The Position
Reporting to a partner with deep experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, you will manage and run matters across NSW and Federal Courts, with regular exposure to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT). The role also encompasses advisory and alternate dispute resolution work, giving you genuine variety across contentious and non-contentious matters from day one.
KEY REQUIREMENTS - 2 to 6 years post-admission experience in litigation
- Strong knowledge of NSW and Federal Court practice and procedure
- Experience managing and running litigation matters with some autonomy
- Exposure to insolvency, insurance, building and construction or commercial litigation is advantageous
- NCAT experience a bonus, though not essential
- Strong analytical, research and drafting skills
- High-level communication skills and client commerciality
