Principal Activities and Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary contact for all Commercial Litigation matters, ensuring comprehensive and expert handling of cases.
  • Draft, review, and provide advice on various commercial agreements and compliance issues, including franchise agreements, commercial leases, and retail leases.
  • Prepare and assess litigation documentation, with prior experience in this area being highly advantageous.
  • Offer specialized advice on commercial litigation, addressing client needs and complexities.

Experience
  • 8+ years of relevant post-admission experience in private practice.
Capabilities (Knowledge and Skills)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial litigation.
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with clients.
  • Superior technical legal, analytical, research, communication, and drafting skills.
  • Personable, sense of humour and can do attitude.
