Job Description

Property Lawyer position available – join a prestigious Australian commercial law firm renowned for its involvement in some of the country’s most significant property and development matters.

Their Property & Development team has consistently advised leading entrepreneurs, developers, investors and institutions across landmark residential, commercial, mixed-use and infrastructure projects nationwide.
  
Salary and Features of This Position:
  • Salary range: $100,000 – $160,000 + super (commensurate with experience)

About the position:

Our client is seeking a skilled Property Lawyer to join their high-performing team in Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to work on sophisticated, large-scale property and development matters that shape Australia’s commercial and residential landscape. You’ll work closely with a team of respected senior lawyers and partners, advising a diverse client base of developers, investors, financiers, and institutions.

Key responsibilities include:
• Advising on property acquisitions, disposals, and strategic structuring
• Drafting and negotiating development and construction agreements
• Managing leasing transactions across commercial, industrial and retail sectors
• Supporting complex property finance and joint venture arrangements
• Identifying planning and environmental issues in large-scale projects

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years PAE in property, development or construction law
  • Strong drafting, advisory and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in complex transactions and development work
  • Ability to work directly with clients and manage matters end-to-end
  • Commercial acumen and a solutions-oriented mindset
